I know it's up there, but I was raised to believe that it is polite to introduce yourself. First, this profile is here for me to use later. I have long term career goals that I am still working towards. I don't intend to put money into this at least until after I move away from Maine and back home to Texas in Spring of next year. If I have returned your EOI, I am interested, but my short term goals come first.
I am quite happy at home in my kitchen trying out a new recipe or reading a book. I'll admit, a lot of the books I read are science fiction, because who doesn't like to imagine the future? At the same time, I also have a deep love of history. I read some of the old stories and I wonder to myself, "How did Leonidas feel at the gates of Thermopylae?" or "How much does what is happening in America today look like what happened to Rome in the time of Nero?"
I am also in the gym every day because I feel that one must be comfortable in one's own skin. Being happy with yourself, mentally and physically, is essential in my opinion. How will someone else love you if you don't love you?
Of course, I also love being outside. I was raised on camping and fishing as a child and I've carried it into my life as an adult because it lets me escape the world of my work and not be at home. By all means, coffee dates or dinner and a movie are great, but I really want a woman I can go camping with. Spending the day fishing and then cuddling up under a blanket together after we eat what I've caught? Perfection in my opinion.
