I am seeking to meet a kindred spirit and adventurer..and life partner. I see my partner as my equal as well as one I will love and cherish.
I'm what might be called a Renaissance man I love challenging mental work, but also like to run and work out and do physical work on my property. I am a naturist* at heart and in life. Developing an Eden...that is my property is like a paradise...one that is lonely now...and needs a partner to share. I also Love great books/great conversation....mental stimulation is important and I wish my partner to be part of all my activities....that we may talk about them and share in these adventures. I am in very good physical shape and I love running/swimming, kayaking and hiking. I also love to tour on my motorcycle.
Maybe that is a Libra thing. Some of my activities may seem very different...but they are all part of a diverse and interesting life. I Cut wood to heat my house but I always have season tickets to the Symphony. I love opera/ballet and rides the motorcycle whenever, wherever possible. Love to hike in the national parks or forests...would love to live in the Redwoods...but a weekend in Miami, Chicago or New York is very cool. I am in many ways a contrast in different directions. It is important for my partner to know I am hardworking, sincere, honest, kind, thoughtful, passionate (likes holding hands....and kissing) and looking for the same... : )
In my spare time...you will be with me visiting my property in Nova Scotia.... Target shooting, using my telescope to see the universe. Volunteering with the Girl Scouts, getting more into geocaching....improving my pool game....improving my chess game...., finding a better, more affordable Cabernet, etc!

I am kind, thoughtful, respectful, passionate about the things I care about, with a high level of curiosity and interest in many things. I am a loyal and faithful person and hold confidences well. I am very sensual and believe in close and intimate relations with my partner. I am affectionate and believe in holding hands, kissing well and often, touching and reminding each other of our love. I am a champion of women's rights and have campaigned for women's equality here in the US. I am comfortable with alone time but do best with a committed partner. I wish for a partner who will join me in many activities. She may do things on her own....but I have no interest in leaving my partner at home while I do other things. She would want to be with me as much as I want to be with her. I am the person who will solve many problems on my own. I do research to understand many issues. Many of my friends have said if there is ever a disaster or calamity, they want me by their side to help.
