Age and fatherhood have thankfully given me a degree of introspection and humility. The tales of adventures, a colorful past and choices right and wrong now need to be unlocked by a bottle of red or two.
What has not diminished is my sense of adventure, a continuous desire to have fun and a life defined by one constant mantra... don't die wondering.
Life is there to enjoy it and enjoy it I will however I am missing the most important element - someone to share life with.
I like to socialise but I do not crave it. I am just as comfortable at a wild party as I am sitting alone and reading a book. I have a good sense of humour and I'm not afraid to laugh at myself. I tend to look at the bright side of almost any situation however I have a very low tolerance for BS so I avoid it altogether.
I can hold a conversation with words other than 'yep' and 'lol', I don't mind mowing the lawn and I am even known to share the tv remote control.
I have been lucky to work in a job that has afforded me the luxury of travelling the world however my thirst for travel has by no means been fully whetted yet.
Am I romantic?... hopeless (in a good way) and I still believe that somewhere in this world is everybody's perfect match, we just have to understand that perfect doesn't really exist. Enduring relationships are built upon a mutual respect, acceptance, trust and the most ethereal of elements... love.
Am I ready for a relationship? I don't know, I am just being honest, meet me half way and we will see. A great friend to start with but things may develop as we stumble through this mystery together.
Oh, about you? Well it starts with chemistry, I am stimulated by your mind, wit, humour, intellect and easy going but sure nature. Its a plus attitude, eccentric, electric and messy. We captivate with conversation, I mean interesting, tell me more type conversation. You're a nerd sometimes and you are definitely not perfect but the more I get to know you the more perfect you become for me and the more perfect we become for each other.
