Like most guys - I love things mechanical - MY LOVE OF OLD JEEPS and some.... cars are antique vehicles I tinker with and love to take out in the summer to take advantage of the fair weather. This year "ALASKA OR RUST 2017" will test man and machine !! Fair weather means bbq's, camping, hiking and sightseeing. Traveling and photography go together. Thats why I LOVE OLD JEEPS ! If museums are available - I love to take pictures there too! If the weather isn't cooperating you find a coffee house or invite friends over for a scrumptious meal I've prepared. I like nothing better to have someone watch me prep and cook. I never fail to find anything to make - 300+ volumes make that impossible :-)
If I could find a lady here who would like to sample my borscht - I might surprise her in many other ways too. Maybe she'd appreciate an active, loving mind that would respond to her needs and wants, whatever they may be. If she's happy - we're both in heaven :-)
Personality
Contact with people has been my life since I was a teen - now after many decades I have just passed my 30th year with the same company. All those years working with so many different types and dispositions has filled my life with opportunities to sort through, assess and service people and their lives. Life presents challenges. You have a choice to rise or fall or even do nothing.
Nothing is a word - not a way of living. I look for a lady who feels the same and would be buoyed by my support. My life's work has taught me the need to listen first and...offer possible solutions. Spending time with some you love is what you hope for - but to earn that person's trust and have it flow both ways will keep a couple together. My kids are grown up now and I've been blessed with 2 grandsons. They grew up around my 5 brothers and saw the real value of a close family and support. I raised three kids and can see how they are raising their kids now. Looks really familiar ;-)
Now- I have time for me and spending quality time with my lady. I know I have the ability and desire to contribute to her happiness through support on daily basis. I want to be the person who makes life better in so many ways. I want to pull together -- not apart! I'm raised in Canada with a lot of great values to share. When you live in the cold you just know how to be. Right now I am back in Edmonton Canada to help look after my mother. She raised me when I was younger - now it's my turn to repay my mom with the love she afforded me.
