No amount of words could hope to capture the essense of a person... however I can offer you a few glimpses into who I am...

I consider myself a simple person.  I'm easy to get along with, I don't like to fuss about little things and it doesn't require much to make me happy.  However, this does not mean I do not have high aspirations.  On the contrary, I enjoy many of the finer things in life but these things do not define me.

I have come to recognize over the years that there is no such thing as a "perfect person", but I still do believe in a soul mate.  This is not someone who is perfect, but rather someone who I can connect with on such a deep level that the combination of both of us is perfect.  One of my favorite quotes on the subject: "We come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly." (Sam Keen) -- With that said, relationships require a constant investment of time and energy to remain in good standing. This means there should be a healthy balance between relationship, career and everything else. I recognize that if I met my soulmate here, she may not be fluent in English and while she's learning/improving her English, I want to learn to speak her native language. This supports my view that relationships are a two way street, you only get out what you put in!

My hope is that I will find that connection here, perhaps hidden somewhere between the pages of this site.
