I am not much of a social butterfly, preferring to watch and listen to people rather then be the center of attention. I quickly establish a strong empathy for others and will do all I can to help my friends with their slightest need.
One of my favorite proverbs is "Honesty without Courtesy is Brutality". I try to live by it and to remember that not only do my actions reflect on myself, but they affect those around me in ever expanding waves.
I see beauty in common extraordinary events. The miracle of a child, the first star in the night sky, the joyful tears of a loved ones return are all events that while they are commonplace, are beautiful miracles still.
I am comfortable being alone, but desire a woman to share my life with. My friends find that I gladly will lend a sympathetic ear to their problems and joys.
