Personal Message
I awoke one day, looked at the calendar, and realized that time has passed. Luckily, I inherited good genes from my parents so I (hopefully) don't look or feel my age. So I still have plenty of good years left in me to share. I just like to think of myself as now being wiser and more experienced! And though I might not be as physically competitive as I once was, I could still support a more active partner by being a good cheerleader, trainer, coach, and masseuse for your tired and aching muscles (I hear I'm pretty good at it!)
My dad is Hispanic, my mom is Asian. I grew up in Cleveland OH and speak only English (so far). Extended family (relatives) brings Italian, Polish, German, Hungarian, Norwegian, and others into the family mix which makes for great family gatherings! Care to join a family of the world? All are always welcome!
Kids like me (I play well!), dogs adore me (for the same reason), and cats, well, cats are cats... they like me when they feel like it!
And for those who are curious, I love children! They are so sweet and tender. If properly prepared, and gently sauteed with butter and mushrooms, they are fantastic! Oh wait!... I thought someone said chicken!! My fault, I should have listened better! But in general, I find that kids are usually quite sweet! And just like the rest of us, they do tend to toughen with age!
If you think you might like to meet for a chat over coffee or tea during my visit to your part of the world, be sure to let me know so I can plan my itinerary accordingly!
Now I do have to face it: I am no longer a young pup that has the energy to chase squirrels all day! These days I am now simply content to watch them run around and up/down any trees they desire. I will occasionally give a little chase just to scare them away, especially if they get too close to my food. Ah for those days of yore! So if you just want to rub my belly, scratch my back, let me hang my head out the car window, and put up with a little of my fussiness, I will gladly be a great companion and give you my best for as long as possible! Treats are always welcome! (Just amazes me how some ladies will treat dogs better than people. Well, treat me like an older dog that is already housebroken and can get my own food! I already defend the house and occupants and might even learn to fetch your water! And if you relate more with the squirrels, well, go bury a nut. I'll watch! And will probably still lick you when you're done! Though on second thought, it will likely depend on where you bury the nuts and who they belonged to!)

I have traveled quite a bit both in and out of country, cruised a few times (if you ever get a chance to swim with the dolphins and stingray...do it!). I've cruised to Alaska and kayaked with the seals and bald eagles. (Also cruised to the Bahamas, Caribbean Islands, and Mexico!) I've been camping, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, and I've been an EMT, photographer, and ballroom dancer. In high school I was in the orchestra and marching band, where I gained an appreciation for music and theater. I currently have season tickets to the theater. I like good stories, especially comedies and science fiction. I watch television for enjoyment, history lessons, and learning new things. My next trip looks to be Hawaii (unless I find an attractive reason to travel to Russia/Ukraine/Belarus/etc. As you can tell, it would be great to travel with a lovely appreciative partner, but the ship will sail with or without you. I hope you can make it. You'll never regret it!
I'm a one woman guy that does not drink, smoke, or do drugs, and has a good job and home. Never married and have no children. I like simple things at home (complicated things I can get at work!). I'm looking for a partner that provides support at home and makes coming home each night the only thing to look forward to from the time we part each morning. She's kind, gentle, tender, understanding, tolerant, patient, and she likes to be softly touched and caressed. Her smile immediately causes me to forget where I am, what I'm doing, and promptly forget whatever problems I thought I had. She is someone that likes variety, from TV to theater to biking and canoeing/kayaking (and now snorkeling!). She doesn't mind trying different things, including foods. She should enjoy travel, or when at home alone, can handle problems if they arise. I have looked long and hard and have yet to find this type of person or someone even close, and it is getting tiring. I hope you will write if you think you are interested!
Personality
I like to think things through before acting or speaking. I'm tolerant of other opinions and feel I can always learn something from most people I meet. I enjoy staying up at night and waking later in the mornings (sometime after God has turned on the lights and turned up the heat!). And I like to see humor in different things.
